REPRO SHARE FAIR
REPRO SHARE FAIR
Our Repro Share Fairs are mutual aid events which aim to address community needs relating to reproductive justice and financial (in)stability of parents of young children.
What is Mutual Aid?
“...more and more ordinary people are feeling called to respond in their communities, creating bold and innovative ways to share resources and support vulnerable neighbors. This survival work, when done in conjunction with social movements demanding transformative change, is called mutual aid.”
-Dean Spade, “Mutual Aid: Building Solidarity During This Crisis (And The Next)”
-
People who are members of any given community will always know their community best, especially in terms of needs.
-
Just like with protest tactics, being creative in our Share Fairs and other Mutual Aid efforts will yield greater results than merely sticking to what is expected of activists.
-
Caring for the community is a combination of both immediate local action and long-term plans for widespread improvement.

What is a Share Fair?
Share fairs are spaces in which material needs, such as food and other essential resources, are met through community participation. Share fairs can also include the donation of services, such as first aid.
