Jfor5 Week of Action 2025

Our 2025 Justice for the Five Week of Action has come to a close! Below you can find photos from the week and reflections from some of our activists.

Our actions included an overnight encampment outside the Medical Examiner, a mutual aid share fair, a die-in at the White House, and a press conference partnering with SBA Pro-Life American outside the DOJ. I hope you take a moment to read these thoughts from our activists!

"This week of action stands out because we trained for and tried a new type of action, giving our activists the experience they need to replicate a diversity of tactics in the future within their own communities. In addition, it reinforces unity amongst activists and solidarity with the preborn in a way that fuels us to continue striving together for safer communities and dreaming of a better world. It set the tone for our upcoming activism and replenished our endurance for the long haul. I think this week foreshadows big things to come in the next year." - EK

"This was my first time taking action with PAAU that wasn't a protest. Everything was much calmer, even though it was still impactful. I’m used to yelling, being yelled at, and being cussed out… but this time, I was there to represent the preborn. I’m grateful to have been there!"

"This anniversary was significant because it was celebrated with Lauren and Herb, those who actually sacrificed part of their life and freedom for these babies and all victims of abortions. Even if, at times, the week of action seemed uncomfortable or inconvenient or tiresome, this discomfort paled in comparison to the discomfort of what Christopher, Harriet, Holly, Ángel, and Phoenix experienced. It was a somber reminder of how much more we could give, sacrifice, and suffer even just a little for these babies in a very apathetic culture."

Thank you for reading and for your support for this Week of Action. Good things are coming and we are grateful to have you alongside us.

For life,
Caroline Taylor Smith, PAAU Executive Director
