ANTI-ABORTION ACTIVISTS CONFRONT CHRISTOPHER WRAY AT FBI HEADQUARTER
Washington D.C.—On Monday March 20th at 12pm, activists with the Progressive Anti-Abortion Uprising (PAAU) will hold a press conference at the FBI Headquarters in Washington D.C. to demand an investigation into the deaths of the five late-term babies killed by abortionist Cesare Santangelo and to demand an end to the surveillance of nonviolent pro-life groups.
The FBI continues to spend time and resources sending informants undercover at peaceful activist gatherings, such as a PAAU meeting at the Watergate Hotel last month, sending more than 20 armed agents to arrest pro-life sidewalk counselor and father Mark Houck in front of his children who was later exonerated, and even investigating transactions between former President Trump and adult film star Stormi Daniels. Meanwhile, the bodies of the five late-term abortion victims recovered outside the Washington Surgi-Center last year by PAAU activists remain in the hands of the DC Medical Examiner and have yet to be subject to an autopsy, even though three of them appear to be victims of violent federal crimes.
Speakers include PAAU directors Terrisa Bukovinac and Lauren Handy, Senior Associate Scholar for the Charlotte Lozier Institute Dr. Michael New, and young anti-abortion activists from across the country.
Directly following the press conference, PAAU activists plan to march from the FBI Headquarters to the US Department of Justice and then on to Mayor Bowser’s office to bring their demands and further the visibility of Santangelo’s victims.
PAAU founder and executive director Terrisa Bukovinac said “Christopher Wray is directly responsible for the outrageous show of force against peaceful pro-life activists and yet he has failed to investigate the deaths of these babies who appear to have wounds consistent with violations of the Born Alive Infant Protection Act as well as the Partial Birth Abortion Ban Act. It’s time for Wray and the FBI to do their jobs!”
PAAU Director of Public Relations Caroline Taylor Smith said, “While the FBI spends their time surveying peaceful prolife groups like PAAU, there are victims of violent federal crimes who have been waiting for an entire year for their turn at justice. Cesare Santangelo must be held accountable for his actions, he must be brought to testify, and these children must get the investigation they deserve.”
