PRO-LIFE PROGRESSIVES CALL FOR MORE REPRESENTATION AT THE LESSER-KNOWN CANDIDATE FORUM IN NEW HAMPSHIRE
When: Thursday December 7th, 4:00PM-7:00PM
What: The New Hampshire Institute of Politics & Political Library at Saint Anselm College will host the Lesser-Known Candidate Forum. The Lesser-Known Candidate Forum has taken place since 1972, providing an opportunity for each candidate to present his or her position and gain valuable voter-recognition before the January 23, 2024 primary election date. In attendance will be activists from the Progressive Anti-Abortion Uprising calling for abortion-free party platforms and better representation of progressive pro-lifers in political spaces.
Where: New Hampshire Institute of Politics (100 St Anselm Dr, Manchester, NH 03102)
Caroline Smith, Executive Director of PAAU said, "Pro-life progressives exist - and we vote. We have power, and we will use that power in a way that reflects our values. Right now we are not happy with the political platforms we are presented with, and we are demanding change. No political party should include murder. Democrats need to recognize that they can't build their platform on a pile of dead children."
PAAU activists will be attending the event, as well as staging a demonstration, and will be available for comment during and after the event. PAAU former Executive Director Terrisa Bukovinac will be participating in the debate as a progressive pro-life presidential candidate.
