Can't make it to DC to rally against Planned Parenthood? That’s ok! Here are ways you can still be involved with actions to further the message of defunding Big Abortion:

Put Pressure on Decision Makers

Remember our Allies A one-year ban is not enough! House Speaker Mike Johnson and Senate Majority Leader John Thune have the power to ensure that the maximum legal measures are implemented. All taxpayer funding must go for as long as legally possible!

Sample Script: “My name is (NAME), and I am calling today to express my full support for Congress’s efforts to defund Planned Parenthood. A one-year ban on taxpayer funding is not enough! You have the power to make sure Americans are not forced to fund abortion with their tax dollars LONG TERM. Please do everything in your power to stop forced taxpayer funding of abortion permanently.”

Don’t Forget the Opposition AOC is on the committee pushing out the language for the Reconciliation Bill. She is the new face of abortion extremism. We need to call AOC out early and often as the Abortion Industry continues to push her further into power.

Hold Republican Holdouts Accountable

Rep. Mike Lawler and Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick … all Republicans …. and all against defunding Planned Parenthood!? This is unacceptable! We must keep them accountable to their party’s standards, which is No Forced Taxpayer-Funded Abortion

Organize Social Media Power Hours

We know who the players are; now it’s time to call them out!

Hold a Social Media Power Hour by committing to spending one hour doing the following:

  • Tweet, post, and hold an IG/FB/TikTok Live about why #DefundPP is so important and what others can do to support it

  • Tag a congressional member in a post or send them a DM

  • You can also print out PAAU graphic and take a selfie 

  • Make sure to tag @PAAUnow on social media with the hashtag “#DefundPP or #DefundBigAbortion”

Examples:

Head to the Streets

Hold a pro-life sign or banner outside your state capitol or local landmark and tag @PAAUnow on social media with the hashtag “#DefundPP or #DefundBigAbortion”

Go sidewalk counseling outside your local Planned Parenthood. This is a direct way to help save lives in areas where legal child murder is still happening. 

Culture Jamming

Culture jamming hijacks the dominant culture of an area by jamming it full of counter-cultural messages.

Mediums of culture jamming include:

  • Chalking

  • Stickering

  • Wheatpasting

  • Banner dropping

Use short, repetitive messages in high-traffic pedestrian areas: sidewalks, walls, benches, and whatever else is on the street. Don't let pro-abortion propaganda go unrivaled! Mark your territory for the movement. Defend the dignity of the babies and take back your streets!!
